Tour Details

We start with a drive along the coast past Camps Bay to Hout Bay where you can take an optional boat trip to Duiker Island to see the seals. Marvel at the natural beauty as we take one of the worlds most scenic drives over Chapmans Peak. Experience the incredible biodiversity in the Cape Point Nature Reserve with over 1000 species of indigenous plants. A stop at the visitors centre will highlight some of the things, animal, vegetable and mineral to watch out for in the park. We continue on to Cape Point where the more energetic can walk up to the lighthouse, those less energetic can take the unique funicular railway. Having worked up an appetite you can stop for a snack before we take the short drive round to the Cape of Good Hope – the South Western most point of the African Continent. We leave the park and head towards historic Simon’s Town and Boulders beach. We stop and walk down to the beach to watch the antics of the African Penguins and hear why they used to be called Jackass Penguins. We then take the short drive into to Simon’s Town, where time permitting, we can see the statue of Just Nuisance, the Royal Navy’s only enlisted canine and browse through some of the fascinating old  shops before we head back along the False Bay coast to Cape Town.
